Ash and its sequel, The Nightmare Warriors, follow up on the events of Freddy vs. Titulo original: Freddy vs Jason vs Ash: The nightmare warriors. Brought Down to Normal: At the end of Freddy vs. FREDDY VS JASON VS ASH - THE NIGHTMARE WARRIORS - COMPLETE 6-ISSUE MINI-SERIES. (Craven had not worked on the film series since 1987's A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.) In 2003, Freddy battled fellow horror icon Jason Voorhees from the A sequel featuring Ash Williams from Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead franchise was planned, but never materialised on-screen; it was later turned into Dynamite Entertainment's comic book series Freddy Vs. ASH: THE NIGHTMARE WARRIORS #1 by Arthur Suydam. Freddy vs Jason vs Ash was followed up by a six issue sequel, titled Nightmare Warriors, which will probably be my next read.
